Personal Description:

English tutoring allows me to share my knowledge and witness a person's growth. I believe everyone has hidden potential and aim to help students unlock that potential. I am skilled in adapting my approach to suit a variety of learning styles. I can assist students in developing strong skills in English, whether they are learning the basics in elementary school or taking college-level courses.

Tutoring Experience:

In 2005, I graduated with a bachelor's in Elementary Education K-8. I have over 10 years of experience as an educator, primarily with elementary-level students. However, I have taught students from kindergarten to 12th grade. I also have spent time as an intervention specialist for public schools.

Tutoring Approach:

Private instruction is a great way to address the individual needs of a student. I can get to know their preferred learning style, skills, and more to develop an approach that can maximize their study sessions. I can guide students through the obstacles that may be preventing them from absorbing key concepts like phonics or using expressive language.
