Personal Description:

I can give students the guidance and support they need as they seek to improve their academic skills. As a study skills and essay writing tutor, I can help students maximize their study time. During one-on-one sessions as a study skills and essay writing tutor, I can help students improve their abilities in ways that suit their learning styles and needs.

Tutoring Experience:

As a college student, I earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology. I also have a master's degree in Elementary Education with Reading Endorsement. I worked as an elementary school instructor for students ranging in age from kindergarten to 7th grade. I also have experience as a homeschool educator.

Tutoring Approach:

I want to help students do more than simply get the right answer. Instead, I want them to understand the process of finding the answer. I work to help students improve their abilities step by step, and I use techniques that appeal to their interests and preferences.
