Personal Description:

I have a passion for educating and I love both teaching and learning. As a math tutor, I hold my students to high expectations and believe each student is capable of meeting my expectations and that it is my job to help them do so. I have plenty of experience finding technology resources to aid each student in the way that they learn best.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and then went on to teach students in grades 1 through 5 at a technology school. In addition to tutoring students in elementary math, I can help them prepare for the math sections of standardized tests.

Tutoring Approach:

My core belief is that children must be taught to be problem solvers. It's important they be able to approach any problem and think about how to solve it. I believe that mistakes are okay because they are opportunities to learn. With persistence and confidence, my students will achieve success in life.
