Personal Description:

I am a biology tutor who enjoys being sociable and outgoing. I like to focus on taking more complex materials and simplifying them to make the materials easier to understand. I am kind, understanding, and great with youth and my goal is to make studying less of a burden for them.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and I am currently preparing for medical school. Most of my experience is as a biology tutor to high school students. However, I have also taught college students biology as well as more advanced subjects like biomedical engineering.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is to teach students to make studying more manageable in order to relieve some of their stress and anxiety. Once we feel they are ready, I have them explain a concept back to me, which helps to boost their confidence and allows me to evaluate when they are ready to move on.
