Personal Description:

I am an OCT certified teacher with 16 years experience teaching English and in Special Education at the high school level. I am passionate about the fact that all students can learn with the right supports. My background/education is in English and Drama.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 15 years experience teaching at a local high school. During this time I have taught most of the English courses as well as Learning Strategies. I also have experience tutoring students, including those with Learning Disabilities, as well as doing Home Instruction with students who are unable to attend school for medical reasons. In addition, I have also tutored with the Oxford Learning Centre.

Tutoring Approach:

All students can learn. If they aren't, we are not doing something right. We need to adjust what we are doing, to meet their needs.
