Personal Description:

I am miss Laure and I live in Canada.

I am a passionate teacher willing to help and support students with a practical approach.

I have been a self-employed tutor for 7 years and I'm very proud of my students 'progress and the way they apply my techniques.

Tutoring Experience:

My teaching career began in 2012 as a French daycare teacher. I was responsible for caring for and teaching children between the ages of 3 to 5.

In addition, I have worked with children in various settings such as summer camps, after school programs in various public & private schools.
Since 2016, I have been working as a French & Math tutor with students ages 4-15.

Tutoring Approach:

My teaching method is to start with all the basics (phonics, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, short French sentences) Students will learn through a variety of interactive activities. All lessons are personalized to meet individual needs, interests and request. For advanced level student, I use different effective methods for intensive courses: progressive grammar, text comprehensions, progressive communication.
