Personal Description:

I am a biomedical scientist that completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at McGill University. I am very passionate about learning and teaching. I love to see my students grow and succeed.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught first year chemistry laboratories for 1.5 years at McMaster University. I also taught a module in a biomedical engineering course at McGill University for 3 years. I have taught full curriculum for grade 12 chemistry once, and first semester year 1 chemistry twice as a private tutor. I also taught some lessons in grade 10 and 11 chemistry, and first and second semester first year university calculus.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to involve my students in discussions, use colors and visuals, and encourage active learning methods such as learning by problem solving, participation, asking questions and taking notes.
