Personal Description:
I have recently graduated University of Toronto, while working part time for my family business I also want to contribute as a tutor especially during this pandemic when education has been completed halted. I enjoy studying about various topics and subjects in my free time and wish further improve my skill set.
I really enjoy teaching children of all ages, I have previously volunteered at orphanages and other centres where I taught English and Maths
Tutoring Experience:
I have previously worked for TutorBright as a SSC, (Student Success Coach) it was an extremely rewarding experience and made even more passionate about this field. I used to connect students/parents to a tutor that would match their schedule, teaching style and other requirements. I also conducted testing during my meeting with the parents and student to assess their level and set up a program for them.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is very tailored to each student I come across. I try assess their needs, strengths and weaknesses and cater to that. My goal as a tutor is to act as a support and teach them so they dont further rely on additional help, and even if that requires teaching them basics of Maths I will be happy to do it knowing that this will be beneficial in the long run.
