Tutoring Experience:
I have previously taught university level courses in biology at the University of Winnipeg. Specifically, I taught the laboratory portion of Human Anatomy and Physiology for two years. This included preparing a 30-minute lecture and assisting students in the labs. In both years, I had 36 students per lab.
I have additionally been involved in teach a Field Energetics and Ecology course, also at the University of Winnipeg, which involved in directly assisting students in creating their own field experiments and using statistics to analyse their data.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe in an individualized approach to tutoring, as all students learn differently and at different speeds. I am happy to adapt to students needs to ensure that they get the most out of all tutoring sessions.
