Tutoring Experience:

I am a second-year engineering student at the University of Waterloo. Tutoring is a flexible, and rewarding job where I will be able to make a positive difference. I love sharing my knowledge with others and watching them grow. I've always wanted to be a teacher, and I think tutoring is a great way to get started. I am interested in tutoring middle school- high school math. I have taken multiple tutoring lessons myself throughout high school and know the structure and what works best for students and how they will learn the content more effectively. Hi there, My name is Kripa and I am a second-year engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I love sharing knowledge and as I have been a tutor to my cousins before, I know the structure and effective ways to teach content to students. I have also been a peer tutor in high school as well as a first-year mentor at the University. My approach is different depending on the individual student as some students prefer topics they are interested in while some react better to positive reinforcement. As a child, I got tutored and having someone beyond the classroom to make me understand the concept has inspired me to want to help others to thrive in their academic life. I also hope to support my students as they navigate through life.
