Personal Description:
I offer both long and short-term tutoring in the Greater Vancouver Area.
I help students with math (mostly precalculus and calculus), physics, including various "AP" programs, and preparation for the following tests:
• PSAT/NMSQT Mathematics;
• SAT Mathematics;
• MCAT Physics;
• GRE Mathematics and Physics.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been doing group and individual tutoring since late 2005, including teaching in the University of Alberta in 2012-2016. My last academic degree is PhD in Physics awarded by the University of Alberta in 2016.
Tutoring Approach:
I strive to be a friendly and approachable tutor, students are welcome to contact me by e-mail or text to ask questions outside of the tutoring sessions. Many Canadian high schoolers benefit from even a few proper, naturally beautiful explanations. The same is true about the undergraduate university students, who often struggle to close the gap between the incomplete, endemic high school programs and the internationally competitive university courses.
