Personal Description:
I am an Applied Physics student in my final year of studies. I went into the Applied Physics program, after a year in engineering. I went into physics from engineering, because I enjoyed the way that physics classes explained the precise reasons phenomenons happen instead of just displaying equations like in engineering.
During my studies, I have traveled to Belgium and Morocco through different programs at the university.
Outside of the university, I have had much fun building websites and gadgets with Arduinos and Raspberry Pis.
Tutoring Experience:
I have helped friends with economics, physics, and mathematics courses. In my first year of university, I have many memories of my friends calling me to the library from my dorm room so that I could help them with problems before the day of exams. Once a friend of mine even bought me pizza for studying with him.
For computer science, I have programmed with friends and explained to them my code in a clear and concise way.
Tutoring Approach:
Problems based approach. During my university career, I found that solving many problems was the best way to study, and I believe that approach works for most people. When I tutor I solve problems and examples with students so that they can get a hands-on understanding of the material.
