Personal Description:

My expertise as a study skills and essay writing tutor lies in demystifying complex processes and providing grounded step-by-step direct instructions. I use a variety of instructional techniques that encompass all learning styles so that I am able to effectively customize the learning environment and experience for a wide variety of students.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in mass communication and my graduate degree in education. For more than a decade I've been teaching study skills, reading, and writing to students with learning disabilities or who are otherwise at risk of failing. I'm a certified teacher in the fields of special education and language arts in two different states and I've tutored students in middle school, high school, and college.
