Personal Description:
I am a great biology tutor because I like working with children who face challenges to their success. I have worked with students who have learning disabilities and behavioral issues. My favorite subjects to tutor are genetics, anatomy, and physiology. I believe everyone can learn given the right blend of interest, confidence, and presentation of information.
Tutoring Experience:
I earned my bachelor's degree in Animal Science and specialize as a biology tutor in biology, environmental science, human physiology, physical sciences, and general sciences. I have worked with students on basic fundamentals and at college prep and honors levels. I also have experience in tutoring going back to the days when I helped my four younger siblings with their homework.
Tutoring Approach:
I love kids and I love teaching. I love the moment when my student picks up on the knowledge or strategy I am teaching them. I will do whatever it takes to help my students understand the material. I will explain things as many times and in as many ways as it takes for them to develop a thorough understanding of it.
