Personal Description:

Hi there! My name is Ken and I am from Tokyo.
I moved to the US for elementary school, and went back to Tokyo from middle school, and lived there ever since.
I teach Japanese on all levels, from the hardest Kanji to read and write, to the meanings of the dialogue in your favorite anime.
If you want to have fun while learning Japanese, this is the place to be!

Tutoring Experience:

I am fully bilingual in Japanese and English, and love studying about languages.
My major in University was International law, and I have1 year of Japanese tutoring experience for elementary school students in Tokyo.
I am open to teaching students of any level!

Tutoring Approach:

I belive that enjoying whatever you do is the quickest way to get better at it… So, I will first roughly confirm what your goals/timelines are for our class, and create a guideline to hit those targets.
It is totally fine to change the aim of the class during our sessions as well!
Also, I will mainly talk in Japanese during class, but it is totally okay to ask questions in English that are too diffficult to ask in Japanese.
If you'd like, I can also recommend you Japanese books/movies/songs depending on your interests and level of Japanese.
