Personal Description:
My love for teaching and learning led me to a career as a university lecturer. I have been recognized by my peers as an outstanding teacher and I have been the recipient of two competitive teaching fellowships which gave me the opportunity to further improve my teaching skills and abilities. My extensive experience and advanced qualifications in science fully equip me to work as a chemistry tutor.
Tutoring Experience:
I completed a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and then went on to obtain a Ph.D. with a specialization in Molecular and Cell Biology. Not only am I highly qualified to tutor chemistry, but I also have over ten years of experience teaching a range of topics from the introductory to advanced level in both large lecture and one-on-one settings. I also worked as a chemistry tutor when I was an undergraduate student.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to bring a broad perspective to my students with my teaching. If one approach does not work, I try another. I also try to help my students connect with the material they are learning on a personal level.
