Personal Description:

I am a journalist and freelance writer who has covered Major League Baseball and other professional sports for the Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, Minneapolis Star Tribune and St. Paul (Minn.) Pioneer Press. I covered the Minnesota Twins for five seasons, voted for American League MVP twice, covered the MLB postseason more than once and won awards.

Tutoring Experience:

After giving up my career to raise my children, I am recently re-entering the writing world and eager to help high school and university students develop writing skills that will positively impact their entire lives.

Tutoring Approach:

The ability to write clearly and concisely is absolutely necessary in all walks of life, but a basic grasp of writing is something many adults lack. I want to be a writing tutor because I know how important writing is, and I believe I can help students develop a skill that will be invaluable throughout their lives.
