Personal Description:

During my career, I have had the opportunity to explore both educational and professional opportunities. Although my career as a Sr. Operations Engineer at a chemical plant is quite fulfilling, I am also very passionate about education. Math tutoring allows me to explore my true passions alongside students, and I hope that I can encourage my students to fall in love with mathematics as I have. In addition to math, I can tutor a number of additional topics.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. I then found work as a chemical engineer, eventually reaching the position of Senior Operations Engineer at a chemical plant. Aside from having years of tutoring experience, I also worked with charter schools and gave presentations to students about my career path.

Tutoring Approach:

I find that my students learn best through a "hands-on" teaching approach with real-world examples. My tutoring philosophy typically involves liberal use of images, analogies, and the occasional experiment.
