Personal Description:

For the past ten years, I've taught in a variety of capacities around the world. I am a patient and caring Italian tutor and I work to meet each individual student at their current level. I recognize that my students have differing abilities and challenges and I enjoy personalizing the learning environment for each one.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degrees in French and Italian and my graduate degree in information systems and international business. I've recently received my ESL certification for students in grades K-12. I have experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages and academic levels.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to begin by assessing each student's current level of understanding of the subject we're working on together and identifying their academic goals and challenges as well as their strengths. I believe building on a student's strengths is one of the most effective ways to facilitate academic growth and bring about a better understanding of concepts.
