Personal Description:

I am an English tutor who enjoys helping students to expand their minds while being in a positive learning environment. I believe that teaching is more effective when it is centered around a student's needs. Engaging students through in-depth conversations is a great way to help them find their scholarly voice.

Tutoring Experience:

I received my undergraduate degree and went on to earn my master's degree. My tutoring experience ranges from elementary writing concepts all the way through high school English. I feel that by providing comprehensive instructions, students are able to achieve their academic independence.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to being an effective English tutor is to help students develop better critical thinking skills by teaching them how to grow academically. I encourage students through the use of positive reinforcement and try to fold in some of their own interests too. This helps them to stay motivated while also keeping them engaged with their studies.
