Personal Description:

I study an Applied Mathematics specialist with a focus in Economics and Finance and a statistics minor at the University of Toronto, St. George Campus. Furthermore, I had studied an IB Diploma in high school with a Math, Chemistry, English Literature and Economics HL. I have also received a distinction in my Trinity GESE Examinations up to Grade 11 and an 8.5 in my IELTS Academic.
Apart from that, I have received a 5 in AP Microeconomics. I'm also a copy editor for the Varsity Publications.

Tutoring Experience:

In the past, I have not only tutored high school students in Mathematics, English Literature and Theory of Knowledge but have also professionally edited and helped writing university essays in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, History, English Literature, Political Science and Philosophy.
Last but not least, I have tutored students for first year university level calculus and economics too.

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer understanding each students preferable approach to learning and applying this corresponding approach to my tutoring style.
For instance, if someone prefers understanding the concept before solving exercises or if someone prefers clearing their doubts during the tutoring session, I will accommodate that.
In case a student has no preferences, I would spend the first half of the session explaining the concept and spend the second half solving exercises with the student.
