Personal Description:

Hi, I am a second-year University of Toronto Student aspiring to be an MD doctor in the coming years! A bit of bragging about myself; I have always been a scholar, I completed my high school with a full-ride scholarship and got a 50% scholarship at university. I am a student from Kenya (5th overall in the country). I have always loved studying and my best method of studying is trying to teach someone else. This helps me understand the concepts at a much more profound level.

Tutoring Experience:

I tutored physics, mathematics, and chemistry to 9-12th graders back in high school. I was also a teaching assistant for physics in my high school.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach has always been tailored to the student's understanding, I ask what the student needs help in, then go ahead and plan an aggregate way of testing the student on those various topics and assess where the student is facing difficulty. After that, I teach the student the entire concept but put more emphasis on the parts they genuinely have an issue in.
