Personal Description:

I am a recent graduate of Brock University. I graduated with an Honours Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology and earned first-class standing. I am personable, easy-going, empathetic, and patient.

Tutoring Experience:

Throughout university, I have assisted my peers in study groups and group projects typically through cue cards and essay-writing.
I also have experience working with children aged 13 and under through coaching golf during high school. I am also a volunteer for Coyote Watch Canada where I am co-creating a curriculum plan on wildlife education for elementary-level students.

Tutoring Approach:

I want to motivate students to improve their abilities and confidence at school or within their academic studies. I want to engage students to be eager to learn. I would like to see the students course outline and previous assignments (if available) to see where they're struggling and how to improve based on teacher's expectations and my own experience.
