Personal Description:

In addition to being a chemistry tutor, I am also a current medical student. I have experience working with students ranging from elementary through college. However, my focus has been geared towards math and science. Due to my own education, I have a thorough understanding of the material and have the ability to impart my knowledge onto others.

Tutoring Experience:

Prior to pursuing my medical degree, I received my bachelor's degree and was on the dean's list for seven semesters. I have experience tutoring high school math, AP Biology, and AP Chemistry. At the college level, I have tutored students in chemistry, biology, and cell biology.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to being a chemistry tutor is to give a student constant encouragement and express my excitement for them when they gain a better comprehension of a concept. Having a conversation with them to assess their strengths and weaknesses is a great way to set goals for our tutoring sessions.
