Personal Description:

My extensive chemistry knowledge allows me to analyze easily where students are stuck. I create my own network of science concepts by combining new scientific information with the information that I already know. By helping my students do the same, they can easily learn new science concepts to add to their existing foundation of knowledge. I am a motivated and passionate chemistry tutor who can help with chemistry at all levels.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in philosophy and chemistry. After that, I continued on to earn my master's degree in curriculum and instruction. My work experience includes being part of significant educational programs. I was also a part of the Teacher in Space Program. I continue my education through formal classes and informal workshops at local colleges.

Tutoring Approach:

I focus on helping students develop a strong framework of knowledge to build upon. Students get excited about learning when they see the real-life connections between the material and their current situation, so I help them recognize those connections.
