Personal Description:
I have a PhD in neurorehabilitation from UBC, but I am interested in science quite broadly. My undergrad degree is a BSc with a major in Kinesiology and minor in Psychology, so I have studied Biology, Chemistry, and Physics extensively.
Tutoring Experience:
In the past I have worked one-on-one with students, developed courses for graduate students, scientists, and clinicians, and I have gone to both high school and elementary schools teaching science workshops to students of all ages.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that everyone learns slightly differently, and figuring out how to optimize that learning is the key to success. I will take the time to understand this at the beginning in order to maximize our time going forward and enhance the learning of the material.
