Personal Description:

I believe that all students deserve a quality education and that the educational community could do a better job of providing individualized support to students who could benefit from it. I have a passion for helping students succeed.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a Bachelor of Arts and studied abroad in Strasbourg, France, during my junior year. The experience not only helped me improve my understanding of French, but also provided me with an opportunity to teach English as a foreign language to clients of all ages. After graduating, I participated in the English Teaching Assistant Program in Bordeaux, giving me even more language tutoring experience. I currently work for an education nonprofit.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in doing whatever it takes to motivate my students as a French tutor, whether that means letting them pick what to write an essay about or playing educational games to reinforce grammatical rules. I also try to customize lesson plans for every student I work with.
