Personal Description:

I can create my own academic material to keep students challenged and engaged at any level. My lesson plans are designed to revolve around their learning tendencies, strengths, weaknesses, and other qualities. I enjoy 1-on-1 math tutoring, among other subjects like test prep for the GMAT and SAT Math exams.

Tutoring Experience:

With more than 25 years of high school and community college teaching experience under my belt, I have the skills necessary to support students in a variety of academic areas. Throughout my teaching career, more than 90 percent of my AP students passed with an average score of 5. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Economics and minors in Math and Statistics. I also achieved my MBA.

Tutoring Approach:

I understand that students may need different approaches to master the material. I can try out different approaches until we find the best way to communicate. I work 1-on-1 with students to develop a strategy that revolves around them.
