Personal Description:

I specialize in creating a positive learning environment where young children are free to concentrate on their goals. I love teaching kids how to read and write, and I feel that students pick up on my enthusiasm and respond accordingly. I can also help your student with their phonics homework, a subject that many parents find intimidating. I can also help with more advanced concepts such as college English.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching for over four decades in a variety of settings, including private schools, public schools, homeschools, and even a school I opened myself. All of my experience comes from working with students from preschool age to grade 5, so you won't find a more experienced elementary English tutor than me.

Tutoring Approach:

Teaching young children should be fun! I constantly look for ways to act out what we are studying because many students find that more engaging than sitting at a desk with a pencil and paper.
