Personal Description:

My name is Kamyar . I am a Petroleum Engineering student at the University of Alberta currently doing my 3rd year. I have passed all of the college level mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry courses with distinguished grades (B and A) and have always stood above the class average.

Tutoring Experience:

I started tutoring math in high school. I am a certified UofA math and chemistry tutor and have helped more than 50 students in college and high school level so far. I have also been a part of the youth tutors volunteer program which is dedicated to helping students in need with their courses.

Tutoring Approach:

I have my own method which is a combination of using textbook as well as intuitive studying. In this method, students are encouraged to work on the problems from a textbook perspective and generalize their solutions to very similar problems outside the textbook.
