Personal Description:

​I'm a recent graduate of the Business and Financial Math double degree program at Wilfrid Laurier University, with a cumulative GPA of 11.7 out of 12. I have been tutoring on-and-off for the past seven years and I'm passionate about giving students the extra help they need in order to succeed. I provide math tutoring services to elementary, high school, and university students.

Tutoring Experience:

I have hundreds of hours of tutoring experience with students from Grade 2 to Year 2 of university. I have notable experience with high school math tutoring. Aside from tutoring experience, I was also an instructional assistant for the mathematics labs at Wilfrid Laurier University, where I helped students work through assignments and provided clarification on course concepts.

Tutoring Approach:

I have transitioned to online-only tutoring in order to continue providing sessions. I recognize that every student is different and sometimes all they need is a little more one-on-one attention to reach their full potential. In my experience, it is useful if students have their own textbook or other materials and come prepared to ask questions on topics that they are struggling with. I am happy to re-teach (or to teach for the first time) lessons, provided the student is able to give some advanced warning on the topics to be covered.
