Personal Description:

I am a math tutor who feels comfortable helping students of all ages, but I especially enjoy helping students prepare for the SAT. I tutor because I find it incredibly rewarding to help students realize their full academic potential. I motivate my students in numerous ways, including incorporating humor into my lesson plans and helping students set attainable goals to work toward.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics. I also enjoy hockey and gained valuable experience working with younger people as a hockey camp counselor that I believe will help me connect with my students.

Tutoring Approach:

I also try to establish a trusting relationship with each student as soon as I possibly can because I find that it promotes student engagement. I'll try to point out how mathematical concepts can help students pursue their goals as well.
