Personal Description:

I enjoy teaching chemistry in my spare time and am working as a chemistry tutor. I strive to improve scientific literacy and can teach students of all ages. Focusing on weaknesses in knowledge is the way to improve them and help the student better grasp the subject. Teaching both helps the student understand the concept and reinforces my own understanding of it.

Tutoring Experience:

In terms of my postsecondary education, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry a Master of Biochemistry. I can focus on biochemistry and organic chemistry, which I have tutored in the past, and other related topics. By applying my knowledge, I can help a student get a better grasp on the subject.

Tutoring Approach:

The method I use is to get to know what type of learner the student is and present the material accordingly, which helps them learn how to study independently. I focus on providing a basic foundation so students have the tools to continue exploring a subject. When necessary, I'll simplify a difficult concept using strategies such as providing a demonstration.
