Personal Description:

Hello, my name is John. I’m currently in 1st year of my Engineering transfer program. My hobbies are usually hanging out with friends, watching tv/movies, and working out. I love helping my friends out with some schoolwork problems they have.

Tutoring Experience:

I have about 5 years of tutoring experience. During high school, I have been a peer tutor/evaluator. Most of my friends and college classmates are my clients, or I usually help them with some difficult schoolwork. I also have siblings in elementary who I help and teach with their schoolwork.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to make sure that someone I’m teaching is having fun and not getting bored with the materials.
I present topics or difficult problems through different approaches and not just a single one, as everyone have different learning styles. I’m patient with my student, and walk them through the material step by step until they get it. Most importantly, I make sure that we take use of the time we have efficiently.
