Personal Description:
I am an experienced instructor who understands how to convey information in an understandable way. I work alongside students to help them effectively build their skills, whether they are working on their essay editing abilities or preparing for the LSAT essay section. As an English tutor, I aim to help students learn to think for themselves.
Tutoring Experience:
I have six years of experience in education. I have served as a teacher, coach, and mentor. I have two degrees. One is a bachelor's in arts in English Literature. I also have a Juris Doctor in Law. I earned 167 out of 180 on my LSAT.
Tutoring Approach:
When I work 1-on-1 with students, I find ways to help them connect with the material on a deeper level by relating it to their life in some way. By realizing the relevance of information, students can realize the importance of learning it. I take the time to get to know my student's individual strengths, interests, challenges, and academic goals.
