Personal Description:

I am able to be very understanding about what specifically is causing a student to struggle in physics. I also get a kick out of making physics fun and interesting to my students. I like to work together with my students by going through problems one step at a time rather than just lecturing on concepts.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have a lot of time working with students as a youth group leader and as a physics tutor. I am available to tutor students in physics at both the high school and college levels. I have also mentored students.

Tutoring Approach:

When I first meet with a new physics tutoring student, I like to get to know them and find out where exactly they are struggling in the subject. It also helps me to know what classes are their favorites and why. I then provide a few practice problems to see where we need to begin focusing.
