Personal Description:

I love to learn, and I enjoy exploring concepts in detail until I feel that I understand them fully. I also enjoy sharing these ideas with others once I understand them, helping them build their own understanding through using explanations and pointed questions. My engineering background gives me the math and science strength to assist students in chemistry and other subjects.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and an Astrophysics minor. College is really where I developed my passion for education. As a full-time engineer and a chemistry tutor on the side, I'm looking forward to sharing my passions for both science and math with others.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to help students learn topics on their own by using simple explanations of complex topics and guided questions that assist them in reaching their own understanding. I'm positive and encouraging, and I can work through concepts and practice problems step by step at the student's pace to foster good study habits and intrinsic motivation.
