I have a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina with a speciality in Indigenous studies. As well, I have a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University in Sociology and Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology from McMaster University.
I love teaching English to all students of all ages as well as, ESL students. I am excellent as well teaching reading, writing, science/biology, sociology, history, civics, law and music.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is to find out where the student is on the subject and go from there. I think it is important to make the teaching meaningful and relevant to the student and as such I work at learning the students learning style and design my lesson plans and tutoring sessions around the strengths and the challenges of the student.
