Personal Description:
I am a fourth year student majoring in mathematics at University of Toronto, with a CGPA of 3.90/4.00, aiming to be a mathematician and professor in the future. I have taught 40+ students from grade 7 to graduate students. I am very responsible, caring, and friendly. I love to talk to students and find what they need to succeed and then provide enough support to help them thrive.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught 40+ students. I have tutored high school level and university-level mathematics, giving insights on problem sets, teaching problem solving skills, and graphic memory of abstract knowledge in math. I have taught many high school students math and physics, and volunteered to help middle school students with math assignments. I am also an executive team of IAAM(Its All About Math) Club at University of Toronto.
Tutoring Approach:
I teach students not only the answers to questions, but also methods to solve more questions. I focus on guiding students gradually to the destination rather than directly giving them everything. I am very responsible, caring, and friendly. I deeply believe that every student can achieve success by his/her hard work and sufficient guidance.
