Personal Description:

I'm a student pursing in the field of Engineering Science/Technology. I have a solid understanding of fundamental physical sciences and math in an application oriented way, as required by the engineering discipline.
I'm also a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese with an basic understanding of its connection to the other dialects.

Tutoring Experience:

Casual tutoring of middle/high school students, and some in introductory college/university courses, include Calculus and linear algebra.

Also have experience in tutoring Mandarin Chinese (casual).

Tutoring Approach:

Excel in non time intense schedules, as I prioritize understanding of fundamental materials over crash course style learning. My core belief is that, encouragement from small steps of achievements will not only lead to success in the tutored course, but also overall confidence. I also tends to use analogy/real life application to explain concepts, in addition to a multi-perspective approach to problems.
