Personal Description:
At a certain point, I discovered I have a passion for the French language and this prompted me to major in the language, teach it, and begin working as a French tutor. I work with students just starting out in French 1, and students who have made their way to French 4, as well as people who are picking up conversational French as they prepare to travel.
Tutoring Experience:
I have studied French formally at both the undergraduate and gradua**Contact Detail Removed**vels, and have been tutoring and teaching French in several different settings for about four years now. I received a bachelor's degree in French Studies and am currently pursuing a PhD in French Linguistics.
Tutoring Approach:
Really, the best way to pick up a language is to practice it a lot, which is why regular tutoring sessions can help. Beyond that, though, it's important to recognize that all students are different, and a good tutor can build a plan of study that responds to the individual student's needs.
