Personal Description:

***Due to COVID-19 I will only be offering online tutoring for students***
I am currently completing the final semester of my B.Ed at Nipissing University with my primary teachable being science. I completed my undergraduate degree at Queen's University where I specialized in chemistry & biology.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a total of 6 years of tutoring experience under my belt for STEM courses specifically. As a teacher candidate I have spent time working in schools planning lessons and various assessments from grades 6-12. My experience as a teacher candidate gives me additional insight into what students typically struggle with, alternative strategies to solve those problems and I am knowledgeable of the new Ontario math curriculum.

Tutoring Approach:

From my teaching experience, I understand that everyone learns differently. My tutoring method for each student will be different depending on their strengths and needs.
