Personal Description:

I decided to become a chemistry tutor because I take pleasure in helping students fully grasp and understand the subject. Many students are intimidated by chemistry, and I want to break down those fears and help change their mindset. When tutoring, I strive to help my students get to that a-ha moment. I love seeing my students' eyes light up when they know they've grasped a concept.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a wealth of experience tutoring students in the subject of chemistry and have taught in both 1-on-1 and group settings. This dates to my time at college, where I tutored fellow students and worked as a laboratory teaching assistant. I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology and have my eyes set on studying Biotechnology, Immunology, or Virology at graduate school.

Tutoring Approach:

My philosophy when it comes to tutoring is that to understand the big picture, you can't overlook the smaller details of each section. As a chemistry tutor, I help my students work through the smaller steps and ensure they fully grasp how everything comes together.
