Personal Description:

I am a first year Teacher Candidate attending Teacher's college on Ontario. I am passionate about teaching and working with students to help them grow and achieve their goals.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored elementary students throughout high school, and I have worked as a preschool teacher with the YMCA for the last three years before continuing my education in the Bachelor of Education Primary/Junior program.

Tutoring Approach:

I focus on attending to the student's individual needs and abilities as we work through their areas of need. I first aim to get an understanding of their current level and we set up goals for what they want to achieve. I then prepare content to help them work towards this goal, or I can help them work through the work they have brought with them from school. Every student has different strengths and weaknesses, and I am prepared to individualize my tutoring strategies.
