Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Jessica and I am an economics tutor. I enjoy sharing my love of learning and helping my students gain confidence and knowledge. If your course subjects are proving to be challenging, I can help put you at ease with my teaching and tutoring skills, plus my drive to see you succeed.

Tutoring Experience:

I am studying computer science and economics and work several jobs on campus. For a year, I worked as a macroeconomics tutor in one-on-one and group settings. I also studied abroad in Graz, Austria, where I acquired new learning and teaching styles.

Tutoring Approach:

I find the most effective way to teach is to start from the basics and build from what the student already knows. To build confidence, I learn some of the extracurricular interests the student may have and apply the tools that provide the best examples. I'll apply interests from outside of school as well.
