Personal Description:

I am both a mathematician and an educator. In my opinion, a thorough understanding of basic math concepts makes higher-level math courses much easier. Learning math is a kind of process, and I believe every student is able to do it. As a math tutor, I have patience with my students, show them the benefits of learning math, and encourage them when they make mistakes because that's what it takes to learn.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics. At university, I was a STEM Peer Teacher and worked with students on calculus. I've worked with hundreds of students, and mainly I have helped them fill in the missing math knowledge they need for more advanced math courses.

Tutoring Approach:

As an educator, I believe it's my job to develop students into contributing members of society. I do so by providing them with access to the tools they can use to improve their life. I encourage critical thinking regarding current issues we face as a society. I always get to know my students when I first start tutoring them.
