Personal Description:

The majority of my focus for both my academic and professional life has been centered on Germany. In addition to this, I also lived in Germany for four years where I further developed my command of the language. As a German tutor, I thoroughly enjoy working one-on-one with students and having the opportunity to make a difference in my students' lives.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in German and my Ph.D. in history. I've been a history professor for over nine years with a specialization in modern Europe. My research has been centered on immigration from Turkey to Germany in the postwar error and I have tutored German as a second language.

Tutoring Approach:

I make sure that I'm listening to my student's concerns and taking into account their academic and personal interests as well as their educational and professional goals when forming lesson plans and smart goals to monitor our progress.
