Personal Description:
My name is Jennifer. I am a third year Communications student majoring in Journalism. I write a monthly column for my local paper and work as a freelance writer. English and Social Studies were my favourite subjects in high school, and having graduated in 2014, I am still quite familiar with the curriculum and resources used by teachers in the classroom.
Tutoring Experience:
I was a peer tutor in my first year of University, and taught English briefly in my time abroad in Nicaragua.
Tutoring Approach:
I hope to instill confidence in my students by guiding them toward their potential. Tutoring is a give and take experience, so I hope for my students to be prepared with questions. I feel confident I can connect and relate to students, as I am still a student myself.
