Information About Jennifer
Edmonton tutorPersonal Description:
Hey there! I am a married woman with two beautiful babies, one aged 2 years and the other 10 months. Life is hectic and busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I graduated in 2011 with a BSC majoring in Biology with a minor in Nutrition. I also have one semester remaining to complete my Nutrition and Dietetics degree, and have also in my possession a certificate in Medical Laboratory Assisting and am CSMLS certified. I have a keen passion for science, particularly as it relates to physiology, Nutrition and evolution. I am also an avid fitness enthusiast, and am passionate about dancing, singing and reading.
Tutoring Experience:
I have no formal experience teaching, but hope to change that precedent soon. I have the educational background but also love to read and research topics that pique my interest (when my children are sleeping), and have not been able to part with my science books from school. I look forward to helping people of all ages and backgrounds reach and accomplish their goals as it pertains to their studies.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach will be tailored to each individuals strengths and weaknesses and learning styles. For examples the employment of drawings and other visual aides, and appropriate analogies etc. Everyone can learn, it’s just a matter of time as well as the skill of the teacher.
