Personal Description:

I have many years of experience working with and motivating kids. I started a head football coaching position at age 19 and began my teaching career at 23. I have five years experience in the classroom as a grade 4 and junior high school teacher. I just turned 30 making me youthful, energetic and passionate about your education. I have a strong tendency to be able to relate with young people from all walks of life. I also produce electronic music and love the continuous learning it provides. I love learning new things and I believe my love for learning can spread to you!

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring Math and English online via Zoom since 2021. I have taught a trigonometry unit to a grade 11 student who scored 93% after the sessions. I also have 5 years teaching experience in the classroom teaching all grades in grade 4 and in a junior high grade 7 - 9.

Tutoring Approach:

Let me know the topic you want covered. Send me the textbook pages that correspond with it and/or specific examples you want to know how to solve a couple of days before the session if you can. I will provide clear explanation of how to solve the problems, together and on your own you will solve the problems, and I will provide other examples of similar problems that we will solve to ensure the understanding of the topic is thorough. This will be done on whiteboard software that can be saved and sent to you after the session for future reference.

For subjects like English and Biology that do not necessarily have problems to solve, I will create a lesson plan to teach the topic provided in a fun and exciting way being sure to check for understanding throughout and at the end of the session.
